What are the common signs of skin cancer?
Excessive mole growth on the skin
New lesions are formed which itches and bleeds (later stages)
Melanoma, is the deadliest form of cancer which is identified by ABCDE’S.

What are ABCDE’S symptoms?
A stands for asymmetry (usually, moles are symmetrical but if you see any changes in the symmetry of those moles then it might be something to worry)

B stands for border (Moles usually are very clean but if you see some blurness in the borders then you must get yourself checked)

C stands for color (If your moles are having different shades of color which is something abnormal, then this might be a sign of melanoma)

D stands for diameter (If your mole is more than an inch then the mole might indicate melanoma)

E stands for evolving (If your mole is evolving each passing day then you must see a skin specialist at the earliest!)

Are you prone to skin cancer?
If you have frequent sun burns and the area gets tanned very often then this might increase the risk of skin cancer.
If you have a different colored eyes, you might be at a risk.
If your hair color is naturally blonde, risk is high!
Do you have a wrinkled skin in your early 20’s? Get yourself checked!

How can you prevent skin cancer?
Opt for a good sunscreen whenever you go out in sun, UV rays are harmful.
You can use supplements which are rich in vitamin E which can protect your skin. By- Dt. Trishala Chopra

Nephrologist- who deals in management of conditions related to the Renal System

A Nephrologist is a medical professional who deals in management of conditions related to the Renal System i.e. Kidneys.
Out of various Renal Pathologies, the two most common and severe kidney conditions are:
Kidney Stones
Renal Failure
(In cases of drug toxicity, Forced Alkaline Diuresis is given to patients, for immediate drug removal)
Kidney Stones, also known as Renal Calculus (Nephrolithiasis) are Crystal Oxalate Crystals. They are formed in the kidney from the minerals present in the kidney. These stones are formed normally, and pass through the Ureter without any symptoms. However, when they increase in size, they may block the Ureter, leading to Pain (Renal Colic)

Basic Management includes:
Re-Hydration i.e. Water Therapy
The Patient is asked to drink plenty amount of water.
Drug Therapy
Narcotic Pain Analgesics are frequently prescribed to patients with renal colic.
For Severe cases, treatment regimen includes:
Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL).
Surgical Removal Of Stones
Kidney failure (Renal Insufficiency, is a medical condition which the kidneys fail to adequately filter metabolic wastes from the blood. It may be Acute or Chronic.

Renal Dialysis is a life-support treatment in such conditions.
It is of 2 types:
Haemodialysis
Peritoneal Dialysis
In Haemodialysis, Blood is filtered using a dialyzer and dialysis machine whereas in Peritoneal Dialysis, Blood is filtered inside the body after the abdomen is filled with a special solution. By- Dt. Trishala Chopra

Overview about thyroid

Hormones are the chemical messengers that are secreted from various endocrine glands, which act on specific target tissues to regulate specific physiological system.
Endocrine Glands are the tissues which secrete hormones. They secrete hormones directly into the blood stream. The endocrine glands in the body are:
Pineal Gland
Pituitary Gland
Adrenal
Hypothalamus
Thyroid
Parathyroid (PTH)
Pancreas (It is endocrine as well as exocrine in nature)
Ovaries (Females)
Testes (Males)
The Thyroid Gland is one of the largest endocrine glands in the human body. Anatomically, it is found in the anterior side of the neck, below the Adam’s apple (i.e. Laryngeal Prominence)
The Endocrine Thyroid Gland secretes 3 Hormones:
T3 i.e. Triiodothyronine
T4 i.e. Thyroxine
Calcitonin
A Thyroid Specialist is a medical professional who deals with the Physiology & the pathology related to the Thyroid Gland.
The Functional Disorders of the Thyroid Gland are described on the basis of Over or Under Secretion of the above discussed hormones.
They are:
Hyper-Thyroidism
It is a clinical and a biochemical state caused by excess production of thyroid hormones. It is also called as Thyrotoxicosis.
Symptoms are:
Nervousness
Palpitation
Fatigue
Weight Loss
Heat Intolerance
Fine Tremors
Hypo-Thyroidism
It is a clinical state characterized by inadequate production of thyroid hormones. It is called Cretinism (Children) and Myoxedema (Adults)

Here’s how asthma can worsen your normal life

Person suffering from asthma can very well relate to this article! The impact of asthma is way too high on a person’s life who is suffering from it! Asthma is a condition which affects the pulmonary system. In layman terms asthma is a condition where there is difficulty in breathing because of the narrowing and inflammation of lungs. You must be thinking that how a pulmonary disorder can affect the other systems? Well, other systems are also affected which can make it difficult for you to live a normal life.

Sleep- The word is self-explanatory. Image someone holding your nose while you are asleep. Can you still sleep well? No. you would get oxygen to breathe. The same happens with the person suffering from asthma. Breathing is interrupted making it difficult for a person to have sound sleep as a result it leads to irritation throughout the day. Lack of sleep leads to insomnia which creates a lot of chaos in hormone production. Proper sleeping medications must be started if the complication is increased.

Exercise- When you exercise, you need more oxygen. You breathe heavy. This is in the case of a normal person. Imagine what will happen to a person who is suffering from asthma? Exercise is very difficult for asthma people. Lack of exercise brings in immobility which in turn leads to many cardiovascular disorders. A person suffering from asthma must be very careful about his/her medications if he is planning for exercises. An inhaler should always be kept nearby to avoid breathlessness.

These are just 2 things which are affected because of asthma. More points will be covered up in the next article. Stay tuned! By- Dt. Trishala Chopra

ORTHOPAEDICS- branch of medicine which has everything to do with the human anatomy, especially with the Musculo-Skeletal System.

Orthopaedics is the branch of medicine which has everything to do with the human anatomy, especially with the Musculo-Skeletal System. The Human Musculo-Skeletal System includes the Skeletal Muscles, Tendons, and Ligaments & Bones (hence skeleton). An Adult Human Body as a total of 206 Bones (Femur is the largest, while stapes is the smallest bone)We are living the dream life, in this 21 century, where everything we need, is done with a blink of an eye.

Advancement in technology has done wonders for us, but has also made us more prone to various problems. Due to the sedentary individual lifestyle, the body gets progressively deteriorated. Lack of movement & exercise, imbalanced diet and many pre-disposing factors such as high blood pressure, over-weight, postural instability etc. are now contributing in development of various bone & joint related impairment.

Orthopedics has shown progressive development in recent years, mainly due to the advent of high no. of cases of various degenerative diseases such as Osteo-Arthritis (OA), Spondylosis or Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) in most patients belonging to the high age group (45-50+)An orthopedic surgeon may use Surgical or Non-Surgical Methods to treat various pathologies.  Improved technique with fewer risk, have given a surgeon the liberty to perform the following interventions, as an attempt to improve patient’s condition:

Diabetologist- Medical professional who provides expert management to the patients suffering from DM

The World Health Organization defines Diabetes Mellitus (DM) as a heterogeneous metabolic disorder, which is characterized by a common feature of chronic hyperglycaemia (i.e. Raised Blood Sugar Levels).
A Diabetologist is a medical professional who provides expert management to the patients suffering from DM.
He/She is an UG Graduate i.e. MBBS having a Post Graduation Degree (i.e. MD) as an endocrinologist, with specialization in treatment of Diabetes Mellitus.
DM is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality all over the world.
The incidence is rising in almost all developed nations, owing to the sedentary lifestyle (i.e. Reduced Physical Activity) and obesity.
The reason of DM being of such a concern is its complications, viz:
Loss Of Sensations
Gangrene
(In certain cases of gangrene, the last stage is amputation)
Diabetic Foot
Blindness
A Diabetologist decides the treatment protocol, based on two factors:
Type Of DM
Age of the patient
Functionally, Diabetes Mellitus is of two types:
Type  I DM
The Type I DM is also called as Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (IDDM), because in this condition, there is a defect in the Insulin Secretion from the Beta Cells of Islets Of Endocrine Pancreas, and hence Insulin Therapy is recommended for such patients.
Because of its occurrence in the young, it was earlier called as Juvenile Onset Diabetes.
Type II DM
The Type I DM is also called as Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus (NIDDM) as there is Normal Secretion, but poor uptake of insulin by the cells. By- Dt. Trishala Chopra

Care of our natural clothes- the skin, cosmetic surgeon

The largest sense organ of the human body is the skin. It is the primary barrier that germs encounter when they try to invade the privacy of the internal organs. So it is needless to mention that care of the skin is of utmost importance. It is highly efficient as long as it is maintained properly, and that is precisely where the role of a dermatologist comes in.

A physician, who deals in the treatment and care of human skin and associated body parts like hair and nails, is a dermatologist; and hence it can be inferred that that branch of medical science that is concerned with the body parts mentioned above, is termed as dermatology. Interestingly, dermatologists even treat cosmetic ailments of human beings. Noida has a large arsenal of competent dermatologists and strives to make dermatology a principal branch in hospitals and health care centres in and around Noida.

In Noida, dermatologists are the sole leaders in the vast field of cosmetic ailments and surgery. Some physicians, who are aspiring to become dermatologists, complete fellowships in the field of dermatology. However, many present dermatologists in Noida have been trained in their respective residency on various aspects of dermatology. A rather new aspect being practiced in Noida is dermatoepidemiology. To the layman, suffice it to say that it involves the study of the skin, but at the population level.

Dermatology today, is a stream with wide range of solutions for a wide range of problems. It has become a very significant branch of medicine and promises to advance to a much higher levels in the future, ensuring that the saviour for our skins is here. By- Rounak Bose

Pediatrician is a medical professional- Deals with the science of Pediatrics.

A Pediatrician is a medical professional who deals with the science of Pediatrics.Pediatrics is a field which deals with everything but children- Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology!

Pathological conditions which are mild for an adult maybe severe for a neonate (or a child). This is mainly because of difference in the physiological mechanism, pathological states, as well as Immune system functioning. For example, If an adult presents with a fever (Elevated Body Temperature over 37 Degree C or 98 Degree F), he/she is prescribed a moderate dose of a safe Anti-Pyretic Drug (Such as Paracetamol. Aspirin is generally avoided, keeping dengue fever in mind), until the condition persists.

However, if the same case is found in a child, there is something to worry about, as the child’s body is not yet prepared for handling any such pathology.Good Care & Proper Hygiene is a must for every child, and it is the duty of the parents (or the Guardians) to make sure their children are kept in a safe and a hygienic enviornment. We all go out for our work daily, and almost every-day we make use of public transports like trains, buses or taxis for travelling. But we don’t fall sick everyday! This is because our immune system is prepared to fight against common antigens. However, this is not the case with a child, as the immune system itself might not be fully functional. Hence Hygienic enviornment is a must. By- Dt. Trishala Chopra

Care of the Tooth.

Are chocolates, toffees, éclairs, your delicacies? Then, it is imperative that dentists will be on the top of the priority list of doctors that you will need to visit in your life-time. And even if you do abstain from these food items, there is no need to be ecstatic; because, dental problems have been found to be hereditary in nature.

A dental surgeon, more commonly, a dentist, is the physician whose specialisation lies in the field of dentistry- the study of the oral cavity in general and teeth, in particular. His field of expertise is the correct diagnosis, cure and prohibition of any diseases or disorders linked to the oral cavity and teeth. As early as the 20th century saw the advent of modernised dental technologies and methods in India and abroad. Fluoride toothpastes, crowns made of porcelain and cast fillings to name a few, were the ingenious wonders of the dental-medical world. Futuristic innovations are fats inviting in a brand new ultra-smooth super-fast dentistry; and these include the likes of air-driven dental gadgets, electric toothbrushes and other new smart techs on the block.

In Noida, a rapidly-blooming hub of futuristic innovations, by the means of the general, mandatory training, a licensed and registered dental surgeon is entitled to perform almost all dental treatments which are common, and some advanced ones too. This is pretty much the scenario in all over the world too. Cleansing, restorations with the aid of crowns and bridges, supports like braces, or endodontic therapies like RCT (Root Canal Treatment) all fall under this category. Oral surgery is not out of place for these physicians.

Dentists are playing life-saving roles nowadays, and with good reason. They are guarding one of the most important parts of our body- an act which takes their status to that of a saviour. By- Rounak Bose

LUNG CANCER- Referred to as lung carcinoma

The term lung cancer is also referred to as lung carcinoma. A person suffers from lung carcinoma when a malignant tumor forms in the lungs. These tumors grow in the lungs with an endless multiplication of the cells in the tissues of the lungs. Most of all the cancers that are formed in the lungs are called primary lung cancers. These primary lung cancer tumors are the carcinomas. There are two main types in lung cancer. The two main types of lung cancers are as follows: small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC) and non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC). There are quite few common symptoms a person has to look out for when he or she feels that he or she is suffering from lung cancer. Few of the most common symptoms are shortness of breath, weight loss, difficulty in breathing accompanied with frequent chest pains.
Medical statistics have proved that people who are regular consumers of tobacco and alcohol have higher risks of suffering from lung cancer. Smoking is one of the main reasons of lung cancer. When a person inhales the harmful smoke out the tobacco leaves, the toxic fumes get inside the body of the person and it starts depositing on the lungs of the person. When the person smokes on a regular basis, the smoke starts getting accumulated on the lungs slowly and it forms a thick layer of toxic substance over the lungs and this slowly leads to the formation of malignant tumors in the lungs. Are you diabetic?

Whenever I visit a doctor for whatever illness interferes with my daily life. I have noticed be it the dentist or the paediatrician or the ophthalmologist whoever they are, always ask if I am diabetic. Diabetes is a large black thunderstorm frightening us and cutting short lives that we meant to be longer. But majority of the general public is unaware of this. Most people are unaware of doctors called diabtetologist who specialise in the treatment and control of diabetes.

Diabetes is defined as a prolonged increase in the blood glucose levels well beyond the accepted levels. A diabtetologist is an endocrinologist who spspecithes in the hormones that maintain blood sugar. He/she cares for the diabetics and helps them to lead a normal life with the aid of a drugs and a proper diet. On an average diabetes is said to claim a life every minute being second only to cancer and heart disease. There are two major types I and II. Type I or insulin dependent is associated with pancreatic diseases and is mostly autoimmune. The type II or insulin independent occurs due to reduced or no response to the secreted insulin. Type II is more common among the two.

Increased body fats increases the risk of Diabetes. Other risk factors include smoking, alcohol, physical inactivity and a fatty diet just to mention a few. Diabetes alone is quite manageable but with complications like decreased wound healing and cataract the patient suffers greatly. It is a disease that runs through the society and has captured many victims as a result of their own negligence to health. It is a complicated disease with the simple solution of lifestyle changes. So get off your feet, go for a run, gorge on fruits instead of burgers and laugh a lot more, I’m sure we’ll diabetes into extinction with the roar of happiness and health. By- Rashika Subbiah

AUDIOLOGY- Medicine which focuses on the health issues related to human audio

Audiology is the specialty field under the field of medicine which focuses on the health issues related to human audio. It is a field that is concerned with the study of hearing, balance and other related disorders to the human ears. It deals with treating people who suffer from hearing loss and people who suffer from other health disorders related to the ears. It determines the disorder by determining the hearing range of the person. Audiologists treat people ranging from kids to adults. They employ the use of different strategies to determine and understand the exact condition of the person and deal with the treatments and the surgeries.

Who is an audiologist?
An audiologist is a specialized medical practitioner who belongs to the specialized field of medicine called audiology. These medical practitioners treat people who suffer from disorders related to the ears. They are specially trained in the study of ears to treat the disorders related to the ears. Newborn hearing screening is another important sub field under the main field of audiology. According to the medical statistics, more than thousand babies are born with significant hearing problems. When the baby is born deaf, it will also lead to speech problems. Because only when the child is able to hear what other people speak, the brain will be able to record the speech and reciprocate the same. But, when the child cannot to hear what the others speak, the brain will not be able to record anything which leads to speech disorder. Therefore, when a baby is born with hearing disorders, it only becomes deaf but it also leads to speech disorders making the child unable to speak. Therefore, when a baby is found to have hearing disorders at a young age, the aby should immediately be taken to an audiologist without any procrastination as delaying will lead complications which cannot be solved or treated after the child grows up.

If a newborn bay has hearing disorders, the audiologist can look into the condition of the baby and suggest treatments to treat the disorder of the baby.  Not all disorders are can be treated by the audiologist. But it is advisable that people consult an audiologist at the early stages to prevent further complications. There are not high possibilities to treat old people with hearing disorders. So, audiologists suggest a different method to treat old people with hearing disorders. These audiologists provide the old people who suffer from hearing disorders with hearing aids. The hearing aid machines enable the people with disorder to hear with more clarity. These hearing aid machines are attached to the ears of the people who suffer from the disorder and when the device is turned on to function, the machine provides the person with a better audio clarity. Audiologists are a boon to people who suffer from hearing disorders. People can visit an audiologist anytime they wish to consult. Audiologist are professionally trained to treat the people who suffer from hearing disorder. By- Pujha Ramesh

Hair Transplant- Hair defines beauty

As we are gearing with top speeds into the new era of life, almost everyone has become personality conscious.Everyone is highly concerned with their beauty, their looks, and their appearance. There have been reported cases where in people go into depression because of ill-appearance when compared with the peers.Hair defines beauty. Hair Styles govern a basic appearance of anyone, and hence pre-mature hair loss is everyone’s concern.

As a matter of growing concern, Researcher’s have come up with the new age techno-based Hair Transplantation, which has been one of the most successful in management of Hair Loss (Baldness/Alopecia)It is a surgical procedure which is only performed by highly professional & trained Surgical Dermatologists. As Human Hairs have regenerative capacity due to the presence of Hair Follicles, Transplantation involving the follicles is very advantageous. As a result, people who have had a hair transplant will continue to grow hair in the transplanted areas of the scalp.

Following Surgical Transplantation, Patients are advised to undergo a drug regimen which involves:
Analgesics (To Reduce Pain)
NSAID’s (To Reduce Inflammatory Reaction)
Broad Spectrum Anti-Biotics (To Rule Out possible infections)
Side Effects are mild, and subside within a week. They are:
Patch or Crust Formation in the scalp
Swelling
Infection
Itching
Inflammation of the hair follicles (i.e. Folliculitis)
Shock Loss (Sudden Temporary Hair Loss)

For Patients who are not advised to undergo surgical procedure, various Non-Surgical Methods are used, such as use of Natural & Synthetic Hair Gain Tonics. By- Dt. Trishala Chopra

Dermatology is a medical field concerned with management of conditions related to the skin, as well as hairs and nail beds.A Dermatologist is a medical professional involved in this field.Dermatology is a Specialization Course, which is done following a UG Course i.e. MBBS.These are generally MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine).Advancements in the fields of Pharmacology & Medical technology has given dermatologists a chance to a have a step ahead in achieving something which was not even possible to think of.There are almost 3 to 4 institutes who have successfully managed Skin Grafting in patients without any side-effects.

Use of Radiations in management of skin conditions is another laurel for this field.Use of LASER & UVR has increased for management of various conditions.Advanced Doses & Efficient exposure has given positive results. However, care has to be taken when the patient is subjected to such radiations, as long term exposure to UVR may lead to cancer itself!

Even  though we have so many developments to talk on regarding this field, somewhere down the line, Neoplastic Skin Conditions are still finding ways to be managed.Squamous & Basal Cell Carcinomas, being closely related to the skin, are big hurdles requiring immediate management. However, researchers are making a constant effort in finding effective ways in management of various Neoplastic Conditions related to the skin. Fed up of wrinkles on your face? Don’t worry, treatment is right here!

Everyone needs a smooth skin and to get that one can do every possible thing! How about treating wrinkles with absolute ease? Cosmetic surgeon are right here to give you the best! There are many skin resurfacing techniques which can be used for treating wrinkles and it has found to have good benefits! Laser treatment is another common way which is used in getting rid of those wrinkles which makes you look ugly! Laser is powerful enough to stimulate the growth of collagen fibres! When the healing occurs post-surgery, the skin gets tighten and better with time! Healing doesn’t happen quickly. It takes this. With time, there are chances that the colour of the skin might be affected. This is one such side effect which such treatments give.

Everybody doesn’t require the same intensity of laser. For the people having moderate laser, a new technique called as nonablative laser can be used having least side effects. Cosmetic surgeons use another technique called as chemical peel where acid is applied on the area to be treated. The peeling off that acid removes the ugly wrinkles as well but this technique is rarely preferred because of the advancement in different techniques! Botox injections have come up recently for the wrinkle treatment but this technique is quite painful and costly as well. Hence, people avoid any other treatment except laser! By- Dt. Trishala Chopra

OCULAR PHARMACOLOGY- concerned with study and the use of the drugs for the primary eye care

What is ocular pharmacology?
Ocular pharmacology is the specialty field in medicine, which is concerned with study and the use of the drugs for the primary eye care. This field of medicine mostly centers around the biological effects of the medicine on the eye. Antagonistic drugs are those drugs, which work only at the level of the receptors. Activating or inhibiting drugs are those drugs, which work at the level of the enzymes.

THE SUB FILED - PHARMACOKINETICS:
Pharmacokinetics is a subfield under ocular pharmacology, which is concerned with the absorption of the drugs by the body, the distribution of the drugs in the body and the metabolism that takes place after the working of the drugs and also with the excretion of the drugs. A drug can be applied and distributed to the ocular tissue of the eyes in two ways which are “local” and “systemic”

The penetration of the drug depends upon the concentration of the drug. If the concentration of the drug is less, the penetrating effect of the drug will also be less. Therefore, higher the concentration of the drug, higher will be the penetrating effect of the drug. The addition of certain necessary chemicals to the drug increases the penetrating effect of the drug by increasing the time of contact with the cornea of the eyes. If the solubility of the lipid of the drug is high, the penetrating effect of the drug on the ocular tissue of the eyes will also be high. By- Pujha Ramesh

The science and art of medicine in Noida.

It is the science of the diagnosis, the treatment and the prevention of diseases. It is a large term, encompassing an arsenal of health care practices developed to sustain and restore health to the diseased by the prevention and treatment of illness. It is “Medicine”. And India is one of the countries on the global forefront in this vast arena.
Noida is the providing the much needed boost towards this achievement. Contemporary medicine in Noida resorts to biomedical sciences, research, genetics, genomics and medical technology to diagnose, treat and prevent any disease.
In modern clinical practices in Noida, doctors personally observe patients in order to diagnose diseases using their expert clinical judgement. The doctor-patient relationship in places like Noida and other areas too, typically begins an interaction with an examination of the patient, his or her medical history and medical record. This is usually, but not always, followed by a medical interview and a physical examination by the doctor in context. Four actions are the basis of physical examination, the essentials of medicine- inspection, percussion, palpation and auscultation. These methods are generally applied in this order although auscultation occurs in India, prior to percussion and palpation for the abdominal segment assessments.
Follow-ups to a visit to a doctor may or may not be advised, and depends on the situation of the patient in situation. On subsequent visits, the process may be repeated in a shortened form to deduce any new physical findings and conclusive lab or imaging results or specialist consultation reports. Thus medicine in Noida has formed a main part of the backbone of the healthcare industry. It is a big boost indeed to the Indian medical industry. By- Rounak Bose

Orthopaedics – providing shields for our skeleton since the beginning of time

206. This is precisely the number of bones that hold together an adult body. They form the structural framework for the sinews and the flesh and blood. One may boast of steel-like muscles, but remove the bones, and he will melt down like a sack of jelly. Bones, basically, are the most vital components of the human body. And orthopaedics or orthopaedic surgery (alternatively spelled orthopaedics or orthopaedic surgery) is the branch of medicine and surgery that has everything to do with bones.
Orthopaedics is that field of surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. The orthopaedic surgeons use both surgical and non surgical means to treat muscular or skeletal trauma, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumours and congenital disorders. India is one of the global leaders in this arena, and Noida is leading it from within, completing achievements and reaching unprecedented heights in this stream of surgery.
In Noida and other parts of India, selection for residency training in orthopaedic surgery is highly competitive. Approximately 700 physicians complete orthopaedic residency training per year. About 10 percent of current orthopaedic surgery residents are women, and about 20 percent of the remaining are from minority group. There are approximately 20400 actively practicing orthopaedic surgeons and residents as of now. All over, it is a more astounding figure: 3-4% of all practicing physicians are orthopaedic surgeons.
All these processes, involved in the making of proper orthopaedic surgeon, to provide efficient health care services to the people require successful completion of a standardised written exam followed by an oral exam, usually, focused on the surgeon’s clinical and surgical performance over a 6-month period. All said and done, orthopaedics has attained great heights in the recent years and it is our firm belief that Noida and India, as a whole, will surpass all other countries in this field in the years to come.

Neuro-Physiology has always been a fascinating study.

Neurophysiologist Doctors in Noida
Human Brain is regarded as one of the most difficult structure to be completely understood. Inspite of long time investment in studies, researchers are still not able to explain something’s about its functioning, such as Memory Storage, Production of speech (Broca’s Area No 44) and Sensations.

Even though Neurological Assessment has been made as a mandatory Performa in patient examination of all age groups, it holds significant importance in geriatric population.
As Age advances, Brain undergoes progressive degeneration, especially in terms of Grey Matter, which disturbs normal physiologic processes.
Of these, most commonly affected are:
Memory
Sensory Symptoms
Motor Symptoms
We often find older people, having loss of memory, especially of events which occurred in early life. This is physiologic memory loss.
However, in cases of Parkinson’s & Alzheimer’s disease, we examine patients with memory deficit (Retrograde Amnesia, and sometimes Anterograde Amnesia), affecting:
Sensory Register
Immediate Memory
Short Term Memory
Long Term Memory
Apart from Geriatric Population, Neuro-Physiological examination also holds importance in cases of Accidental Injuries.
Many Accidental Injuries affecting the cranium (Head & Skull) are associated with some derangements in Nervous System.
This is because of Accidental Trauma to one or more of the following lobes of human brain:
Frontal Lobe
Temporal Lobe
Parietal Lobe

Dental screenings- need of the hour

Dental screenings- need of the hour

Dental screenings- need of the hour

Dental screenings- need of the hour

Make sure you get this done regularly

I go for regular dental screening- said no one! Nobody goes to get their teeth checked on the regular basis! Unless you have any pain in your teeth or something is not right, you will visit a dental clinic. The moment you enter the clinic, you can see big posters which will mention the same thing- how to take care of your teeth! Out of which, visiting your dentists is very important.

Talking about old age, people get more ignorant and never go to the dentist. But this is wrong. A proper track on dental health status is very important. Why is it so important? One advantage is that early diagnosis can save you from major pain. Apart from it, dentures placed for old age can be checked if there is any issue with the same.
