Physiotherapy-Introduction and its Future in Ghaziabad

Ask a person about what he thinks is the most important part of the human body and the most common answer you will get will probably be ‘joints’ or ‘limbs’. A person can be fit and healthy but can never be an asset to the country unless he is working for the country. Because of the fact that joints are the most important part of the human body, the field of medicine which caters to this part takes up more importance in our daily lives. That field of medicine is called physiotherapy.
Physical therapy or physiotherapy, as it is commonly known, helps patients regain or maximize physical movement and functions through exercises and therapies using agents such as heat, wax and electricity. Physiotherapists work in conjunction with the doctors to treat the patient. A physiotherapist’s aim is never to cure a patient, but to rehabilitate him. This process requires kindness, compassion and patience as not every patient reacts to the patient the same way.
A good physiotherapist can be a boon to the nation in its bid to become developed as more number of fit and healthy people translates into more number of working population which means lesser poverty. As is the case with many professions, a good level physiotherapist are mostly found in some of the most developed areas of the country such as Ghaziabad, Gurgaon etc, but soon, with the increasing scope of this profession, India can boast of some of the finest physiotherapists.
