Make sure you get this done regularly

I go for regular dental screening- said no one! Nobody goes to get their teeth checked on the regular basis! Unless you have any pain in your teeth or something is not right, you will visit a dental clinic. The moment you enter the clinic, you can see big posters which will mention the same thing- how to take care of your teeth! Out of which, visiting your dentists is very important.

Talking about old age, people get more ignorant and never go to the dentist. But this is wrong. A proper track on dental health status is very important. Why is it so important? One advantage is that early diagnosis can save you from major pain. Apart from it, dentures placed for old age can be checked if there is any issue with the same. Not only this, during middle age, chances are high that the person might have gone through any kind of dental treatment. So misplacing of fillings which has been put up in the teeth might have got worn off with time.

This can be taken care with regular dental screenings. Old people suffer from gingivitis which is a very common oral disease which needs to be taken care off. This can lead to further complications in the body which might make living life a big time challenge! It is advised that teeth cleansing and flossing should be done at least once a year which is a part of maintaining oral health! Dental clinic are now equipped with all machines and instruments right there for you! Why not make complete use of it? By- Dt. Trishala Chopra

Be careful while you select toothpastes for yourself

dentist in noida

Everyone must have seen that add on TV about salt in your toothpaste? Though it a bit dramatically shown but that’s true. It is important to check out the salt content in the toothpaste which is good for your health!
Anything which includes health in it should be completely free from health hazards right? But that is not true. There are toothpastes which are not healthy for you but you still use it.
There are few chemicals in your toothpaste which you need to avoid at the earliest. Fluoride, sodium laureth sulphate and triclosan are those chemicals which should not be there in your tooth paste because they are toxic and also has traces which are linked to deadly cancer.
Everything in this world these days causes cancer. So where is the problem? In the ingredients or the kind of lifestyle which we are living? Why is the use of these toxic chemicals permitted?
Fluoride- This not only causes cancer but is a big risk too thyroid as well.

Triclosan- This chemical is there in almost all the products which acts as a disinfectant but there are researches which has been carried out and it is proved that this chemical interferes in the thyroid functioning as well.

What Does A Dentist Do?

Dentists are part and parcel of the medical and health care industry that delivers whole and complete treatment to the ailing patient. Unlike the trend that isolates dentistry from conventional medicine, it is fundamental and a segment of medicine itself. Dentists deal with the diagnosis, treatment of disease and care of the oral cavity. Dentistry doesn't isolate itself to the teeth alone, but also deals with the mouth as a whole, including gums, tongue and the deeper aspects of the oral mucosa.
Due to the increased prevalence and occurrence of poor dental hygiene and its potential public health hazard, dentists have the responsibility of maintenance and care of the society's health too.

The most common ailments tackled by dentists include cavities, inflamed gums and cosmetic corrections like placement and adjustment of braces. The dental community also forms a part of mainstream medical care through specializations like oral surgery and general dentistry. Most medical professionals have their own work spaces, where the art of their specialty is best reflected. In this hustle, many a times the professionalism overtakes the thoughts of the patient. Under such times, the dental clinic is a ray of sunshine. Decorated with lovely d'cor and wall paints dental clinics instantly put their patients at ease.

The staff that serve in the dental clinic vary from the doctors themselves to the technicians that help with the making and setting of dental implants, nurses that aid the doctor should there be a complex procedure, and the hygienists that tip outgoing patients with tailored advice on oral hygiene, care and maintenance. Most dental clinics are family run, enabling easier access and familiarity in society. This also enables the clinic to aid in curbing the growing menace that is poor oral hygiene. In times like these, dental clinics can go the extra mile, and spread awareness regarding the cavity we most often take for granted. By-Amaan
